THE STORY OF JB SIGNATURE COLLECTION

I am Josette "Lovie" Stewart,  owner of JB signature collection. My mom and I absolutely love to wear headbands, but we were bored with the common elastic, solid color headbands. My mom kept hunting through stores unable to find ones we wanted til one day she said, "you should just make your own". I wanted something that was stylish and I wanted cloth...so I began making my own. In 2015 at the age of 13, I started with making them by hand, my family wearing them and posting on social media, that I then decided to start selling the headbands online. After a few weeks of sales over my summer break I was able to purchase my very own sewing machine which moved production from a 20 minute hand process to a 5 minute production process. This led to me seeking various fabric types to create fashionable headbands that can be worn at the gym, to school or a weekend out with friends. In January of 2020 I decided to expand my brand to personalized headbands and accessories. Here we are in 2022 with streetwear and fashion accessories that never seem to disappoint!
